About Amanda Stergianos

Amanda’s media career started in a London Top 10 Advertising agency twenty five ago, in client services working on international brands like Kellogg’s, Disney, Mercedes and McDonald’s.   Once she had my first child, she co-funded her own start up, South Africa’s very first social network www.sareunited.com (pre-Facebook),  for it to grow in a 1 million strong online community.

She exited this business after ten years and expanded into other digital brands such as online dating, news, publishing and lifestyle businesses

She also worked for South Africa’s last major independent advertising agency King James (since acquired by Accenture) as Business Unit Director on some of their flagship accounts. For more insights, visit her LinkedIn page.

Amanda launched and serviced many sectors of businesses,  ultimately what she appears to have in common with them all is a talent to digital and to anticipate the future of digital.  Through Digital Transformation Management, she ensures the online position reflects the company’s vision, mission and promise.

TheDigitalCoach.co is the consultancy that houses her 25 years of media and digital knowledge, doing what she loves most, for business owners.

On A Personal Note

“I’d like to define myself by who I am, rather than what I do.  The most important job I have  is to be a good role model to my three wonderful teenage daughters Tati, Bella and NIna. To teach them to chase their dreams, build their skills in order to be whole, independent woman and to break the legacies that admirable woman are those that live in servitude and sacrifice to others.”

Since becoming a parent, I have always arranged my career around my family, so that I could be an integral part of their day-to-day lives.  I now coach other business owners to do the same,  to fully utilise the power of digital to sell their skills, products or services to free up their time to do what they love and still be present to joy.

I am a champion of women and young people who are victims of any form of abuse, to work with them and to inspire them to find their power to become fully independent.

When I am not working on digital transformation, both of my own stable of digital products or that of my clients, I can be found on my MTB, swimming in the sea, hiking with my dogs, or building my food blog (@soulfood.blog) – and more recently writing children’s stories inspired by my children’s life experiences  (www.tillymaxandbean.com).

I am a perpetual learner and hope to never stop acquiring new skills. In the future hope to become a published author both of a non-fiction book and a recipe book on nourishing food for your soul.

How can I help you or your business evolve into the digital era?
